David L. Roessner, 52, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday evening, March 20, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family.
On December 18, 1957 in Tiffin, he was born to Tom and Ruth (Reiter) Roessner. He married Jodi Ringle September 20, 1996.
Survivors include his wife of 13 A½ years; Jodi, father, Tom Roessner of Bloomville; a sister, Barb (Richard) Hopple of Tiffin; 5 brothers, Jerry (Joanie) Roessner of Omaha, NE; Mike (Eileen) Roessner and Steve (Mary) Roessner both of Tiffin; Greg (Ginny) Roessner of Gibsonburg; and his twin brother, Dan (Teresa) Roessner of Tiffin; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, in laws, Bill (Peg) Ringle of Republic and his dog, Blue.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth on January 12, 1987 and a nephew, Noah Roessner.
Dave was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a 1976 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. After graduation, he worked for Schultz Motors Inc, as the parts manager for over 18 years, 4 years at Findlay International, and most recently at John's Welding and Towing the past 11 years as parts manager. Dave was always willing to lend a hand helping others. He enjoyed spending time outdoors; deer hunting, fishing, golfing and remodeling projects around the house.
A Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the mass.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 form 4-8 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St. (419-447-2424).
Memorial contributions may be made to F.A.C.T, Community Hospice Care and the American Cancer Society.
