D. Michael Wright, 74, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday evening, August 21, 2015 at St. Francis Home.

He was born on June 30, 1941, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Franklin and Gertrude (Schwartzmiller) Wright.

He is survived by a sister, Sue Kuhlman of Frazeyburg; sister-in-law, Luella Wright of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Brother Michael Wright, OSM, Robert, Paul, Norman, Eugene and Thomas; two sisters, Alice and Marjorie.

Michael graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, worked at Sterling Abrasive and later retired from ITT, working in the business office. He enjoyed gardening, antiques, dogs and cats and was an Ohio State football fan. Michael loved his family and had many close friends.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
