David A. Yates, 61, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 18, 2025, in Fostoria.

He was born in Tiffin, on April 23, 1964, to Melvin and Elizabeth (Smith) Yates.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Brady; son, John Yates; brother, Richard Yates; and sister, Brenda Almond, all of Tiffin.

David was preceded in death by his father, and son Corey Yates.

David enjoyed fishing and going to car races.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
