Deborah K. Thompson, 64, of Rising Sun, passed away Friday morning January 8, 2021 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.

On November 20, 1956 in Gallipolis, she was born to Clarence and Louise (Waugh) Hively.  She married Shawn Thompson on November 20, 1990 and he survives in Rising Sun.

Also surviving is a son, James (Amanda) Wagner of Defiance; three grandchildren, Mattea, Lillian, and Elliott; two great grandchildren, Hope and Serenity and a brother, Dennis (Patricia) Hively of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Howard Homlar who raised her, and a brother Roger Hively.

Deb graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1974, loved being a mother and housewife and enjoyed tending to her roses and gardens, crocheting, canning and being in the kitchen.

A private visitation and service will be held for the family.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Bloomville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
