Dennis E. Hagen, 75, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 27, 2016 at his home.

He was born on August 9, 1941 in Miles City, MT to Earl and Birdie (Reeser) Hagen. On January 14, 1961, he married Sandra L. Burke and she preceded him in death on May 22, 2011.

Survivors include his son, Scott (Sally) Hagen of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Karri Hagen-Meacham of Tiffin; brother, Darrell Hagen of TX; sister, Karen Villamour of CA; and three grandchildren, Dana Hagen, Patrick Hagen and Devin Meacham.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenny Hagen.

Dennis graduated from Shelby High School in Montana and was a retail executive for Safeway Food Stores. He lived in Shelton, WA before moving to Tiffin ten years ago. He was a member of First Lutheran Church where he was very active, was a youth mentor and was elected president of the church board. Dennis was a member of the Tiffin Masonic Lodge 77 and volunteered at Mercy Hospital and SCAT. He enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, fishing, making furniture and was a wood craftsman.

His funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 30, 2016 at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Clayton J. Bailey officiating. There will be no burial at this time.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Service at the Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church, SCAT or the American Cancer Society.
