Dennis L. "Denny" Magers, 64, of Bascom, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

He was born on August 30, 1954, in Tiffin, Ohio to Leroy J. and Rose Mary (Hoover) Magers.  He married Barbara Johnson and they later divorced.

Survivors include his son, Dennis Magers of Bascom; brothers, Doyle E. (Deb) Magers of Tiffin, David M. (Kathy) Magers of Alger, Daniel J. (Pat) Magers of Tiffin, Donald T. (Jill) Magers of Nebraska and R. Joseph Magers of Tiffin; sisters, Linda (Loren) Miller and Sandra (George Boston) Hoffman, both of Tiffin, Karen (Bill) Brose of New Riegel and M. Pamela (Russell) Hays of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Denny graduated in 1972 from Tiffin Columbian High School and worked in the shipping/receiving department at Tiffin Metal for 46 years, retiring in 2018.  He enjoyed working on cars, was a born again Christian with great faith, very simple, an inspiration, laid back, content, friend to everyone and was a devoted and proud father.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
