Dionicio 'Don' Pena Jr., 60, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday evening, December 29, 2010, at his home.

He was born September 3, 1950, in Lindsey, to Dionicio Sr. and Virginia (Garcia) Pena. He married Sara Benevidez on October 5, 2002, after they had been together for 33 years.

Survivors include his father Dionicio Sr., in Texas; wife, Sara; a son, Dionicio 'Sonny' Pena III; a daughter, Dianicia 'Bebe' (Clint) Everetts, all of Tiffin; a brother, Manuel Pena of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Sylvia Padilia of Bakersfield, California; 6 grandchildren Dylan Everetts, Trent Everhart, Sabrina Pena, Jacie Zeigler, Allison Pena and Lyndi Pena.

He is preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Rosa Barrera.

Don was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, traveling, yard work and breakfasts at Cool Creations. He worked at the Budd Company in North Baltimore as a machine operator for 18 years. He proudly served his country as a US Marine during the Vietnam Conflict from 1968-1974.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Monday, January 3 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the United Veteran's Council.
