Donald A. "Donny" Lofay, 58, of Tiffin, passed away Monday evening, July 1, 2013 at his home.

He was born on February 28, 1955 in Tiffin, Ohio to Carl J. and Rosemary E. (Hoerig) Lofay.

Survivors include his sister, Deborah A. (Michael) Seitz, of Tiffin; twin brother, Denny C. (Carol) Lofay of New Riegel; and sister, Carla J. (Jeff) Lust, of Tiffin; girlfriend of 23 years, Denise Burns; 3 step-sons, Denny, Derek and Dylan Burns, all of Tiffin; step-daughter, Danielle (Adam Temple) Burns, of Fremont; 2 step-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, Bruce Lofay in 1969 and Joe Lofay.

Donny graduated in 1974 from Tiffin Columbian High School, was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and worked for NeoWood and N.W.P. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, watching NASCAR, wood working, playing poker and walking his dog, Oliver.

A Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 8, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Kishore Kottani officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.
