Donald R. 'Don' Shaull, 86, of Tiffin, died Sunday evening, March 28, 2010, at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

On June 27, 1923, he was born in Liberty Twp. to Reed F. and Mabel (Feasel) Shaull. On November 16, 1946, he married Betty Harrison.

Survivors include his wife, Betty, of 63 years, a daughter, Sandra (David Miller) Shaull of Conyers, GA, two brothers-in-law, Royal (Betty) Harrison and Frank E. (June) Harrison, both of Fostoria, many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death along with his parents is a sister, Louise Murray.

Don graduated from Jackson Liberty High School in 1940 and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps in the Pacific during WWII, from 1943 to 1945. He worked at National Machinery for 29 years as an assembler, retiring in 1989, and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed volunteering, helping others all over, farming, traveling, gardening, watching birds and squirrels and doing lawn work. He moved to Tiffin in 1970, volunteered at his church, SCAT and Mercy Hospital.

His Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH, 44883, 419-447-2424, with Rev. Donna Van Trees officiating. Burial will follow in Knoll Crest Cemetery, Arcadia.

Friends may visit with the family 5-7 PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home.
