Donald R. Weller Sr., 79, of Tiffin, died Thursday morning, September 2, 2010, at his home.

On February 26, 1931, he was born in Pleasant Twp., to Herbert P. and Lola M. (Morton) Weller. On January 11, 1951, he married Audrey R. Michaels in St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Audrey; two sons, Donald R. (Deborah) Weller Jr. of Tiffin; and Michael K. (Angela) Weller of Stroudsburg, PA; two daughters, Cynthia A. Smith of Marysville; and Sue Ellen (Dennis) Shock of Farmington, WA; a brother, Clarence Weller of Dayton; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death along with his parents is a sister, Marjorie Barr.

Donald was a 1949 graduate of Old Fort High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a farmer and owned Don's Radiator Repair Shop for 25 years, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, bowling, being outdoors and helping his neighbor farm. He was an auxiliary Coast Guard member.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 4, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
