Donalva Mary Rahrs, 91, of Tiffin and formerly of Oak Harbor, passed away Saturday morning, March 23, 2013 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

She was born on November 10, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio to Adolph T. and Alma M. (Beaudry) Limmer. She married Frank H. Magers and they later divorced. She married Chester H. Rahrs Sr. on August 21, 1958 and he preceded her in death on January 2, 1966.

Survivors include 3 sons, Chester Rahrs Jr., James H. (Ann) Magers both of Toledo; Donald F. Magers of Oregon, OH; daughter Lydia A. (Pat) Smith of Tiffin; sister, Phyllis (Wayne) Cutcher of Toledo; five grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Donald Limmer and sister, Dorothy Limmer.

Donalva was a spiritual person and always willing to help the less fortunate providing food and clothing, even taking clothing to Mexico. During WWII she worked for Doehler-Jarvis and was a Realtor in Toledo for many years.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center Chapel. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Oak Harbor.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Wednesday at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center Chapel.
