Obituary

Donna Jean Bradley, 59, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday morning, December 29, 2009 while taking care of her mother.

The daughter of Burton and Betty (Miller) Margraf, she was born on October 2, 1950 in Tiffin. She married Neil Bradley January 3, 1992, and he survives.

Donna was the mother of two children, David (Susan) Greene of St. Paul Park, MN and Heather Greene of Tiffin; the grandmother of Samantha, Logan, Keegan, Calvin, Isabelle, Joselyn, Rochelle, Ethan, and Gabrielle Greene; and the sister of David (Ellen) Margraf of Canyon Lake, TX. Her mother, Betty Margraf, survives in Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Burton Margraf.

Donna was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1969. She graduated from the University of Toledo in 1972 with a B. Ed. and from Tiffin University in 1983 and 1984, she earned her M. Ed. from Bowling Green State University in 1988. Donna continued her education throughout the years, receiving a Lay School Certificate from Northwest Ohio Association, U.C.C. Her first service as Lay Minister was last Sunday at St. John's United Church of Christ.

Donna's career and personal life focused on children. Her Permanent Teaching Certificate and Ohio Supervision Certificate allowed her to teach Talented and Gifted children in Northwest and North-Central Ohio for many years. She received many honors and rewards throughout her career and had several publications related to Gifted Education.

Her hobbies included collecting lighthouses and professional photography. She was a Sunday School Teacher and active in her church. A member of Tiffin Area Real Estate Investment Association, and Kappa Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, and a member of Tiffin Art Guild, she was a loving grandmother and enjoyed helping others in the community. She was the leader and the cornerstone of our close knit family.

Her funeral service will be Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Proietti officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may share their memories with the family on Friday, January 1, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Tiffin-Seneca Public Library, Junior Dept., St. John UCC for the Tanner Mission or American Diabetes Association.
