Donna J. Trott, 87, of Republic, OH passed away Saturday afternoon, July 12, 2014 at Ruffing Family Care Center, Bloomville.


On September 26, 1927 in Adams Township, she was born to Henry and Ruth (Hartzel) Snavely. She married Albert C. "Butch" Trott on January 12, 1947.


Survivors include a son, Ron (Chris) Trott of Republic; daughter, Eileen (Arthur) Ostrander of Huachuca, AZ; two grandchildren, Angie (Matt) Reiter and Ronnie Trott and three great grandchildren, Bryce and Karah Reiter and Caden Trott.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 66 years, brother, Gaylord Snavely and infant brother, sister, Lorna Cole and an infant granddaughter, Melanie Trott in 1978.


Donna was a 1946 graduate of Republic High School and worked alongside her husband and co-owned Al's Lawnmower Shop in Republic for over 36 years retiring in 2001, vacationed in Arizona and enjoyed playing BINGO. She especially loved her family and spending time with the grand and great grandchildren.


A Graveside service will be Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Block Cemetery in Republic with Pastor Darla Metz officiating.


There will be no visitation.


Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bliss Memorial Public Library in Bloomville where her grandchildren spend a lot of time or to Ruffing Family Care Center Activities Fund for the residents.
