Donnie L. Jackson

Donnie Lee Jackson, 65, of Bloomville Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Judy Jackson, his niece Kisha Mathias, and his nephew Joshua Carver.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Doris Jackson; his sister Vicki Carver; and his children John (Shannon) Elchert, Brian Elchert, Ginny Elchert, Misty (Jeremy) Parkins, and Justin (Alexa) Dickson. Donnie also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 21 great‑grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who loved him deeply.

Donnie never knew a stranger. Though gruff at times, he had a generous heart and a steady presence. He was happiest when he was doing something. He loved fishing on his boat, tinkering in the garage, or learning how to repair something new. He also loved unwinding in his hot tub or sitting by a good fire in his backyard.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and quiet strength. Donnie will be missed more than he will ever know.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.

His Funeral Service will be Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
