Doris L. Clark, 91, of Cincinnati, formerly of New Riegel, died Friday morning, April 18, 2008, at Hospice of Cincinnati.

On November 30, 1916, she was born in New Riegel, the oldest of six children, to Ralph S. and Eulalia (Altwies) Elchert. She married Lyman Clark.

Survivors include a brother, Cyril 'Buddy' (Joanne) Elchert of New Riegel, two sisters, Wilma Renninger of New Riegel and Virginia Brown of Carey, three grandchildren, Mark (Marianne) Clark, of Cincinnati, Molly (Tim) Mayer and Maribeth (Steve) Goodstein, both of Cincinnati, a granddaughter-in-law, Anna Clark of Monclova Twp., eleven great-grandchildren, Holly Emch, Nick and Alex Clark, Jamie Miller, Emily and Daniel Clark, Maggie and Max Mayer, Kelly, Bailey and Spencer Goodstein, two great-great-grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan Emch.

Preceding her in death along with husband, is a son, Lanny Clark in 2006, a brother, Gilbert Elchert, a sister, Rosemary Keating and a grandson, Michael Clark in 2007.

Doris and her husband owned and operated Clark's Bar in New Riegel for over 25 years. She was a member of All Saints Parish where she made food for funeral luncheons. She was known for her delicious pies and enjoyed needlepoint, antique collecting and going to estate auctions.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 24, 2008 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel, with Rev. Randy Giesige officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, New Riegel.
