Dorothy L. Corthell, 92, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday morning, July 23, 2018 at Seneca House.

She was born on November 1, 1925, in Tiffin, Ohio to Blake and Gertrude (Weise) Rider.  On October 26, 1946, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, she married Kenneth E. Corthell.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of Tiffin; sons, Stephen (Kathy) Corthell of Tiffin and Richard (Margaret) Corthell of Greenwood, IN; daughter, Jane (Jim) Supance of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, Alicia, Michelle, Marcia, Kimere, Daniel, Nate and Katie; and seven great grandchildren, Jackson, Lane, Lucas, Logan, Eden, Corinne and Sawyer

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Eugene Rider and William A. Rider.

Dorothy graduated in 1943 from Tiffin Calvert High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.  She enjoyed golfing at Clinton Heights, playing poker and pinochle, cooking, bowling at the Knights of Columbus, wintering in Fort Myers and Cape Coral for 20 years and being a Den Mother for Cub Scouts.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka and Rev. Gary Walters con-celebrating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
