Dorothy May Divney, age 75, died November 19, 2008 in Findlay after a lengthy illness. Dorothy, the wife of the late Herbert Divney of Tiffin, Ohio (deceased 1994), was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had been very active in the LPNAO in her younger years. Mrs. Divney was also a lifelong Native American enthusiast who enjoyed collecting Native American artwork and studying Indian lore. She had been an active member in the Findlay Art League and was a life member of the Ohio Poetry Association. Mrs. Divney, a published poet, won many awards for her work. Mrs. Divney is predeceased by son Randy Shubert of California in 1976. She is survived by daughter Ann, and sons Marcus and Malcolm, also of California, two grandchildren, as well as one brother, Thomas Smith. She leaves numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a private grave side service at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio in the Smith family plot on Saturday, December 6.
