Dorothy E. Faber, 93, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, July 1, 2016 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

On October 22, 1922 in Tiffin, she was born to Freed S. and Florence M. (Miller) Elems. She married Bartlet M. Faber June 21, 1947 and he preceded her in death January 4, 2001.

Survivors include her children; Barbara Elarton of Tiffin; Mary (Claude) Weatherbee of Upper Sandusky; Linda (John) Spohn of Tiffin; Sandra (Lynn) Burlile of Lorain; David Allan Faber and Constance M. Faber both of Tiffin; 17 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant son, brothers; Marion, George, Robert, Harold, and sisters; Janet Rodegeb and infant sisters, Audrey and Margaret.

Dorothy worked at U.S. Glass in Tiffin and was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2858, and she enjoyed watching golf, crossword puzzles, camping, sewing and playing badminton. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her service will be Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 10:00 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
