Dorothy M. Gillespie, 87, of Tiffin, died Tuesday evening, January 27, 2009, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

May 26, 1921, she was born in St. Mary's, to Edward and Sarah (Kruse) Meckstroth. She married Paul L. Gillespie.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mary Gillespie of Tiffin, many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband, Paul, in 1999, is a sister, Gretchen Meckstroth.

Dorothy lived in Findlay until retiring in 1986, when she moved to Sebring Florida, until moving back to Ohio 7 years ago.

There is no visitation and burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
