Dorothy J. Haman, 81, of Briarfield of Milan, passed away Tuesday morning, September 18, 2012, in the Emergency Room at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.

She was born on November 17, 1930, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Clyde and Nina (Ready) Dayton. On January 19, 1952, in St. Mary Catholic Church, she married Paul L. Haman and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula (Tony) Sehlhorst of Bloomville; son, Rick (Linda) Haman of Fostoria; 3 grandchildren, Greg (Heather) Sehlhorst, Adam (Samantha) Haman and Nicholas Haman; and 4 great grandchildren, Erin, Mercedes, Autumn and Cade.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; 3 brothers, Paul, William and Richard Dayton; and one sister, Grace Anway.

Dorothy graduated in 1948 from Tiffin Columbian High School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She retired as a secretary from the lab at Mercy Tiffin Hospital. She enjoyed reading, watching television, knitting, crocheting and playing Bingo.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. The Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass. There will be no burial at this time.
