Dorothy M. Mack, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, March 30, 2011 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.

On July 19, 1926 in Seneca County, she was born to Clarence Roy and Mary Edna (Garber) Long. She married Robert L. Mack on July 18, 1945 in Ft. Seneca Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara A. (Francis) Sondys of Toledo; Robert E. (Bonnie) Mack of rural Bascom; 5 grandchildren, Kathleen Carroll, Sherry Sharp, and Frank Sondys II all of Toledo; Robb Mack of Tiffin; Ginger Jeffrey of Sycamore; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert of 57 years on February 11, 2003, brothers, George, Roy, John and Wilbert Long, and a sister, Pearl Hemminger.

She enjoyed taking care of her home, family and helping many of her friends. She loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 am at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Terry Steinhauer officiating. Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
