Dorothy Louise Shorsher, 96, of Noblesville, IN., passed away on Monday morning, June 18, 2018 at Harbour Manor in Noblesville, IN.

She was born on September 19, 1921, in Pittsburgh, PA., to Mary Veronica Ellis. On May 31, 1941, she married George Shorsher and he preceded her in death in 1997.

Survivors include her son, Kenneth (Denise) Shorsher of Raleigh, N.C.; daughter, Kathy Zimmer of Los Angeles; Son-In-Law, Charles Ranker of Noblesville, IN; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded death by her mother; infant daughter, Martha Shorsher; Daughter, Laurel Ranker; four Brothers, Walter Ellis, Ben Ellis, Thomas Ellis, Richard Ellis; sister, Marie Bodine and granddaughter Heather Clark.

Dorothy was a member at First Presbyterian Church. George and her owned One Hour Martinizing for 47 years. She moved to California in 2000 then to Indiana in 2005. She enjoyed gardening, reading and loved animals.

A private graveside service was held at Seneca Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Memorials contribution may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
