Dustin H. Mathias, 51, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at his home.

He was born on July 27, 1972, in Tiffin to Nelson and Nancie (Haugh) Mathias.  On October 09, 2021, he married Kisha Carver and she preceded him in death on February 04, 2023.

He is survived by his mother, Nancie J. Metzger of Carey; son, Brant Mathias of Upper Sandusky; daughter, Kailey Mathias of Tiffin; brothers, Andrew Mathias of Bucyrus, Corey (Gracie) Mathias of Texas and Greg (Crystal) Mathias of Bloomville; sister, Rene (Robert) Meyer of Fostoria; grandson, Dominik Mathias; 12 nieces and nephews and three great nieces and nephews; stepmother, Beverly Mathias of Warsaw, IN; his cat, Frankie and his dog, Hemi.

He was preceded in death by his wife; father, Nelson Mathias; and stepfather, John Metzger.

Dustin graduated in 1991 from Warsaw High School in Indiana and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.  He worked at Webster Industries for years, Keller Welding and Towing, and B&M Machine and Fabrication in New Riegel. Dustin enjoyed building and riding his Harley Davidson, especially to the lake with his wife, Kisha.  He was a member of the New Riegel Moose.

There will be a celebration of life at Sauber's Stumble Inn, 5921 W. Tiffin St., Bascom on Sunday, January 07, 2023, from 1-3 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Humane Society.
