Edith M. Nelson, 78, of Bloomville, passed away on Thursday morning, February 9, 2023 at Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center.

She was born on December 24, 1944, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Howard and Evelyn (Whales) Myers.

Survivors include her son, John (Valerie) Nelson of Bloomville; daughters, Becky Floyd and Teresa Whorley, both of Virginia; brothers, Les Myers of Tiffin, Bill (Marlene) Beckford of IN and Howard "Butch" Myers of Tiffin; sisters, Maryann (Ed) Haines of GA, Karen Myers of Bloomville and Cathy Myers of Fostoria; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Jerry Nelson.

Edith worked in the dietary department at Elmwood at the Shawhan and retired a few years ago.  She was a member of the Tiffin Eagles #402, enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo and loved her cat, Callie.

There will not be any Funeral Service.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
