Edna L Moyer, 87, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, November 23, 2013 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.


She was born February 25, 1926 in Tiffin to Alvin John and Lillie (Williams) Kiesel, Sr. She married Edward W. Moyer on March 28, 1948 in Tiffin and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2001.


Survivors include 3 sons, Dennis (Julie) Moyer, Daryl (Diane) Moyer, Dwight (Karon) Moyer all of Tiffin; 2 sisters, Irene (Dale) Johnson of Tiffin and Adah (Virgil) Fausnaugh of Asheville, OH; 7 grandchildren, Jill, Jodi, Todd, Katrina, Brett, Brenda and John and 5 great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Alvin J Kiesel Jr.; 2 sisters, Viola Sarkan and Agnes Lange; grandson, Christopher Moyer and a great grandson, Ryan Liebrecht.


Edna was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, a 1944 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and attended Tiffin Business College. She worked in the office for ITT for over 25 years and later retired. Edna enjoyed flowers, gardening, spending time at their trailer at Lake Erie, camping in parks with husband and grandchildren around the area, watching Hummingbirds and Square-Dancing with friends.


Her Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Rev. Pam Easterday officiating. Entombment will follow Seneca Memory Gardens.


Friends may visit and share stories with the family from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.
