Obituary

Edward "Andy" A. Houck, 60, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, July 20, 2013 unexpectedly at his home.

On September 20, 1952 in Tiffin, he was born to William G. and Bernadine A. (Roe) Houck, Jr. He married Carolyn M. Bloom on May 23, 1986 and she preceded him in death on February 14, 2013.

Survivors include a sister, Nelene (Lanny) Keckler of Tiffin; sister in law, Barbara Houck of Tiffin; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carolyn of 26 years, and a brother, William G. "Billy" Houck on December 5, 2012.

Andy was a member of Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene, a 1970 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School where he played baseball and football, Terra Community College and many trade schools. After graduation, he worked as an Engineer for Ford in Detroit, MI and later for Webster Manufacturing in Tiffin. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling, following every type of sports, and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene with Chaplain Donald Johnson officiating. Burial will be private at a later date in Pleasant Union Cemetery in Old Fort.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene, Children's Department or to Gideons International.
