Edward E. "Earl" "Red" Rogier, 85 of Tiffin, passed away Thursday morning, February 3, 2022 at St. Catherine's Manor in Fostoria.

He was born on September 7, 1936, in Leopold, IN, to Henry and Lula (Thiery) Rogier.  On June 14, 1958, he married Rita Seifert.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Rogier of Tiffin; sons, Steve (Vanessa) Rogier of Middletown and Mike (Kim) Rogier of Ypsilanti, MT; daughters, Andrea (Jim) Gase, Lynette (Paul) Ringle and Christine Randall, all of Tiffin; sisters, Betty Smith of Perrysburg and Evelyn (Mike) Wagner of Tiffin; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin son to Mike, Ronald Rogier; sisters, Norma Kummerer, Hilda Steiner, Naomi Wagner and Helen Wynn.

Earl served in the Ohio National Guard and worked at General Electric until they closed, then to Royal Oak in Michigan and later retired from Hawthorne Metal.  He enjoyed traveling to Belgium and the Philippines and wintering in Florida for a few years.  He was an avid golfer, hitting a Double Eagle and a Hole in One.  He also enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, playing cards, cookouts, family get-togethers and bowling.  He once bowled 2-299 games.  Earl worked hard to support his family and loved spending time with them.

His Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
