Obituary

Edward W. "Bud" Flechtner Jr., 88, of Tiffin, died Tuesday October 28, 2008 in the emergency room at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.

On February 24, 1920 in Seneca County, he was born to Edward W. and Dais Mae (Myler) Flechtner Sr. He married Norma Williams on January 4, 1954.

Survivors include his wife, Norma of 54 years, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Byron, Homer James, Paul, Ned, and Bill Lee Flechtner; sisters, Jeannette Phillips and Gayle Stutz.

Bud worked for H and S Construction as a heavy equipment operator, owned the Marathon Gas Station on E. Market St. and "I Could Go for You", making deliveries around the area for local companies. He met his wife at the roller rink in Tiffin and enjoyed many years with her traveling the country.

A funeral service will be Friday, October 31, 2008 at 11:00 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Proietti officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Friends may visit with his family on Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 5-8 PM and on Friday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home.
