Edward T. Furlong, Jr., 72, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday morning, November 12, 2015 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

He was born on August 25, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio, to Edward T. and Betty Jane (Kruse) Furlong. He married Barbara Kay Stahl.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Tiffin; sons, Ed J. (Anna) Furlong of Toledo and Andy (Norma) Furlong of NC, daughter, Ruth (Rick) Fultz of MI; step-daughter, Lori Bloom of Green Springs; brothers, Bill (Judy) Furlong of Swanton and Dennis (Pam) Furlong of MO; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and best friend, Steve Lote of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Edward graduated from Toledo Macomber High School, retired from Dana Corporation in Toledo and then later retired from AFS in Tiffin after six years. He enjoyed remote control planes and was a member of the American Modelers Association and the Tiffin RC Modelers.

A Graveside Service will begin at 12:00 Noon on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Seneca Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Gerlach officiating.
