Emmarie Alta Knieriem, 80, of Tiffin, died Wednesday morning, January 30 2008, at her residence. On January 3, 1928, she was born in Oak Harbor, to Emery A. and Alta S. (Anderson) Knieriem.

Survivors include many friends and cousins.

Preceding her in death along with her parents is a brother, Carroll Knieriem and a sister, Arbeaudith 'Arby' Knieriem.

Emmarie was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School and Tiffin University and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. She was an executive secretary at Tiffin Glass House, a secretary and financial secretary for over 30 years at Trinity United Church of Christ. Her life revolved around her church. She enjoyed sewing and reading.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Trinity United Church of Christ with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will be private at a later date in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.

Friends may visit with the family 10 - 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2008, at Trinity United Church of Christ, 131 E. Perry St., Tiffin.
