Emogene "Jean" M. Dunn, 85, of Sycamore, went to heaven on Saturday, February 23, 2019.

She was born on July 23, 1933, in Perry County, IN to Andrew and Marie (Thiery) Eigel.  On September 10, 1955, she married Donald R. Dunn and he preceded her in death on December 28, 2017.

Survivors include her sons, Mike (Tina) Dunn of Morral and Todd (Shari) Dunn of Upper Sandusky; daughter, Karla (Jay) Johnson of AL; sister, Shirley Mattson; nine grandchildren, Andrya Dunn, Desiree Dunn, Brittney Turner, Brooke Freeman, Dusty Johnson, Brandi Jenkins, Keaton Raymond, Brandt Raymond and Kaleb Raymond; and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda Raymond; and sister, Mildred Macielwicz.

Jean graduated from Tiffin Calvert High School.  After graduation, she went to work at Ohio Bell Telephone Company as an operator, where she met the love of her life, Don.  She became a stay at home mom upon the birth of their four children.  Once all her children were in school, she sold Avon and Tupperware.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, loved to cook and bake and in her spare time, she did crossword puzzles, traveled numerous times to Las Vegas, and she loved playing slot machines.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
