Evelyn R. "Evey" Bentz, 48, of Tiffin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, October 28, 2015 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.

She was born on July 17, 1967, in Corpus Christi, TX to Nick W. and Luz D. "Lucy" Trapp, Jr. On May 22, 2004, she married Kenneth Bentz.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth of Tiffin; four daughters, Heather Weimerskirch of Tiffin, Hayli Weimerskirch of Tiffin, Amber (Jason) Toy of Bettsville and Brittany (Joey Carroll) Bentz of Tiffin; brother, Nick W. Trapp of Virginia Beach; sister, Denise M. (Gene) Mullennex of Tiffin; 5 grandchildren, Dre Toy, Devyn Toy, Jaylyn Toy, Kennedy True and Ella Carroll.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Evey graduated in 1985 from Tiffin Columbian High School and earned a degree as a travel agent while living in Florida. She was the canteen manager and took care of everything at the American Legion Post #169 for years. Evey was a Dallas Cowboys and Michigan fan, attending many football games with her family. She enjoyed shopping, loved jewelry and making friends with everyone. She was kind hearted and loved to spoil her children and grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. There will be no burial at this time.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the funeral home.
