Evelyn E. "Evie" Daniel, 76, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday morning, May 16, 2019 at her home.

She was born on November 26, 1942, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Victor J. and Lena (Schock) Daniel.

Survivors include her brothers, Thomas W. (Denice) Daniel of Bascom and Michael V. (Deb) Daniel of Tiffin; sisters, Anna (Fred) Elchert of New Riegel, Kathleen (William) Meyer of Arcadia, Mary (Wayne) Groweg of Gibsonburg and Victoria (Patrick) Lauer of Tiffin; sisters-in-law, Doris Daniel of Sycamore and Paula Daniel of Fremont; many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, George J. Daniel and Edward A. Daniel.

Evie worked at Kleppers of Tiffin and Beerco for over 40 years.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan, served on the Welcoming Committee, the Spiritual Life Committee, received the Centenary Award for Outstanding Service in 2011 and visited the Vatican.  Evie was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, volunteered much of her time, volunteered for everything at Community Hospice Care and was "the Raffle Ticket Queen" for many organizations.  She was a nanny for years and enjoyed bowling.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, May 20, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
