Evelyn G. Bouillon, 93, of New Riegel, passed away Monday evening, November 25, 2024, at home with her family by her side.
She was born on August 19, 1931, to Raymond and Arlys (Kentfield) Frey. On May 24, 1952, she married Paul E. Bouillon, and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2021, after 68 years together who she dearly missed every day.
Survivors include her sons, Kenny Bouillon, Larry (Lori) Bouillon, John (Jody) Bouillon; daughter, Nancy (Paul) Mathias, all of new Riegel; sister, Cookie Davidson, of Nevada, Ohio; grandchildren, Nicki (Doug) Meier, Lisa (Justin) Donelson, Jenna (Brian) Yost, Kylie (Jarron) Theis, Seth Bouillon, Brook (Erika) Hessey, Kailee (Justin) Scherger; great grandchildren, Zoe, Kenzleigh, Braylin, Logan, Tanner, Garrett, Colton, Brant, Zayden, Ashley.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Tim Bouillon; brothers, Ronald Frey, Paul Frey; sisters, Elizabeth Reiter, Martha Wagner, and Kate Bouillon.
Evelyn was a member of All Saints Parish and the Rosary Altar Society. She attended Upper Sandusky High School and as a young lady, she worked on the family farm, milking cows. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Evelyn and Paul took pride in raising their family in the Catholic Church, praying the Rosary, and for others several times per day. Her faith in God became stronger after losing her son and husband, her family was everything. She enjoyed gardening, her friends in the sewing club, and spent many hours knitting for her family over the years.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at All Saints Parish, New Riegel, with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00-7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-2424. A Second Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at All Saints Parish from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Evelyn's caretakers from Heartland Hospice who showed her love, dignity, and kindness the past few months.
Memorial Contributions may be made to All Saints Parish, New Riegel and Heartland Hospice.
