F. Lucille Butzier, 89, of Tiffin and formerly of Bettsville, passed away Saturday morning, March 16, 2013 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on September 30, 1923 to William and Florence (Turney) Cochran. On May 4, 1942 she married Ellis C. Butzier in Napoleon, OH and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2000.

Survivors include a son, Jim (Kathy) Butzier of Powell, OH; 4 daughters, Donna (Ron) Clingman of Fostoria, OH, Karen (Gus) Hoffman of Huron OH, Deanna (Bill) LaLone of Tiffin, Cynthia (Rick) Trumbo of Britton, MI; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; infant daughter, Nancy Lee Butzier; 5 brothers, Harold, Bob, Earl, Turney, and John Cochran; 3 sisters, Hazel Steinmetz, Helen Dicken, Kate Rodgers and a grandson, Craig Michael Hoffman.

Lucille was a member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church for many years and a Sunday school teacher at the Methodist church in Kansas, OH. She was the best cook, enjoyed gardening and her children and grand children meant everything to her. Lucille's smile and hugs to anyone will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank everyone at St. Francis Home and Elmwood at the Shawhan for the compassion and care and allowing Lucille to keep her cat, Callie with her.

Her funeral service will be at 10:30 on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Donna Van Trees officiating. Burial will follow in Kansas Cemetery next to her husband.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. at the Funeral Home.
