Florence O. Kurtz, 77, of Tiffin, formerly of 30 Riverlea Park, died Wednesday morning, March 11, 2009, at St. Francis Home.

December 11, 1931, she was born in Deunquat to Edward and Chloa (Stover) Birmely. June 24, 1951, she married Earl T. Kurtz in Deunquat.

Survivors include three sons, Kevin L. (Mary Jo) Kurtz of Wharton; Kendall L. (Kim) Kurtz of New Riegel; and Kris L. (Deb) Kurtz of Tiffin; five grandsons, one granddaughter and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents is her husband, Earl in 1999, and a sister, Mary Ann Ross.

Florence was a 1949 graduate of Sycamore High School. She worked for many years at General Electric, JCPenney catalog department and most recently at St. Francis Convent. She loved her family, children, grand- children and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed taking pictures, baking and cooking.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Murd officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.
