Frances Cecilia Cunningham, 95, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 15, 2008 at St. Francis Home of Tiffin, surrounded by her loving family.

On October 23, 1912 in Tiffin, she was born to Joseph and Elizabeth (Hoblowetz) Boehler. She married Raymond J. Cunningham on November 20, 1946 in Tiffin.

Survivors include 2 sons, Michael J. Cunningham of Tiffin; John A. (Julie) Cunningham of Whitehouse; 3 grandchildren, Lance A. Cunningham, Eleanor J. Anderson and Jacqueline M. Anderson, 2 great grandchildren, Andrew J. Shawberry and Zachary D. Shawberry.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Raymond J. Cunningham in 1983, daughter, Jeanne M. Anderson in 1993, brothers, Urban, George, Fred, Richard, Len and Joseph, sisters, Bertha, Mayme, and Breyel. The youngest child of 10, Frances was the last of her family, completing the generation.

Frances was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and their Rosary Altar Society, graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School, class of 1931 where she was the Editor and Chief of the yearbook. Volunteering her services at St. Mary Catholic School for many years and with the Seneca County Board of Elections, working the polls, she enjoyed playing cards and especially spending time with family and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 12:30 PM at St. Francis Home Chapel in Tiffin with Rev. James Halleron officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 11:00 - 12:30 PM at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Chiara Center at St. Francis Home or to Community Hospice Care.
