Frances E. Heilman, 81, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, May 29, 2013 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born on April 1, 1932 in Tiffin to Edward J. and Carmen E. (Prindle) Welter. On October 13, 1951, she married Herbert J. "Whitey" Heilman and he preceded her in death on January 3, 2008.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Jim "Slash" (Candy) Heilman of Green Springs and Ron Heilman of Tiffin; daughter, Linda (Ed) Kimmet of Tiffin; brother, Gene Welter of Wisconsin; sister, Olive Rinker of New Mexico; 5 grandchildren, Fawne Heilman of Green Springs, Rena' Van Horn of Upper Sandusky, Regina Shiley of Fostoria, Jim Kimmet of Findlay and Steve Kimmet of Columbus; 6 great grandchildren and 2 on the way, Carson, Kendall, Ashlee, Kelsey, Logan and Addison; various nieces and nephews; her beloved dog Snoopy.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; 2 brothers, Marion and Harold Welter; sister, Dorothy Elchert.

Frances was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #2858. She loved playing UNO and yahtzee while spending time with her family, particularly on Christmas Eve when everyone was able to get together. She enjoyed traveling, square dancing and polka dancing with her husband, and also played the organ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian wake service will begin at 5:45 P.M. and VFW Ladies Auxiliary service will begin at 7 P.M.
