Gene Robison, 58, of Tiffin, passed away Monday evening, September 28, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a year long battle with brain cancer.

He was born on February 23, 1957, in Willard, Ohio, to Paul and Connie (Coffman) Robison. On September 14, 1985, in Ebenezer United Methodist Church, he married Kelley Tyree.

Survivors include his wife, Kelley Robison of Tiffin; son, Gavin Robison of Tiffin; daughter, Grace Robison of Tiffin; parents, Paul and Connie Robison of Tiffin; brother, Kenneth Robison of Oregon, Ohio; sisters, Barbara (Patrick) Doyle of Britton, MI and Kay (Boyd) Butler of Bucyrus; father-in-law, Rufus Tyree of Tiffin; sisters-in-law, Kaye Wise of Tiffin and Kim O'Dell of Norfolk, VA; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Dorothy Tyree; brother-in-law, Jack C. Wise and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Gene was licensed in life and health and had a Series 6, 26 and 65 licenses and was a licensed underwriter. He owned and retired from Robison Financial LLC and was co-owner and retired from R. Investments, LLC. He earned numerous awards for his financial and business work. He was known for his honesty, integrity and always looked out for the best interests of his clients. Gene's life was his family and his work; was an entrepreneur, handyman, was very generous and a loyal friend.

His funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Jan Kucera officiating. Burial will be private at Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the funeral home and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Friday.
