Genevieve "Gen" L. Wilson, 97, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday afternoon, November 29, 2014 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

On August 28, 1917 in Payne, OH, she was born to James and Anna Linder. She married George E. Wilson on June 22, 1940 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Payne, OH and he preceded her in death in 1992.

She is survived by four sons; David J. Wilson of Millersburg, MI; Thomas J. (Michele) Wilson and James E. (Linda) Wilson both of Fort Wayne, IN; John G. (Glenda) Wilson of Hudson, IN; two daughters, Ann M. (Ed) Bobay of Fort Wayne, IN; Jane (Bill) Hamm of Maumee, OH; two brothers, Maurice (Vie) Linder of Fort Wayne, IN; James Linder of Payne, OH; two sisters, Sr. Jean Linder of St. Francis Home in Tiffin and Theresa Baumle of Payne, OH; 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Gen was preceded in death by her parents, husband George of 52 years; a daughter; Mary Lou Sims, six sisters; Sr. Helen Linder, Catherine Gonya, Jo Huganard, Rosie Perrine and Rita and Marie Linder; three grandson and one granddaughter.

She was a bank teller at Lincoln National Bank in Fort Wayne for over 20 years. In 1981, she and George moved to Tiffin and were associated with St. Francis Convent in Tiffin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 11:30 AM at St. Francis Convent with Rev. Frank Murd officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Francis Convent Cemetery, next to her husband.

Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 10:15-11:00 AM at the St. Francis Home Chapel prior to Mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Convent and Community Hospice Care.
