George Albert Beam, 78, of Upper Sandusky, passed away on August 31, 2019 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.

He was born on July 2, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, to James and Helen (Finch) Beam.

Survived by his sister Susan Vaughn of WI; nephew, Todd (Wendy) McQuistion of WI; nieces, Stephanie (Tim) Durdin of Ill; great nephew, Michael McQuistion of WI; great niece, Lydia McQuistion of WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

George was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and graduated from Columbian High School in 1959. He served in the Navy for four years from 1959 to 1964. He was a lifetime member of the AmVets.

His services and burial will be at a later date in Greenlawn Cemetery.
