George Frederick Dutt II, 82, former principal at Washington Elementary School, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on June 4, 1931 in Tiffin to Roller Erhart Dutt and Jennie Arthur Dutt. He is survived by his wife Janet Kathryn Funk Dutt whom he married on June 9, 1956 in St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tiffin.

He is also survived by his son Laurence Lynn Dutt of Tiffin and his daughter Laura Lisabeth Marsh of Alhambra, California.

George graduated in 1949 from Tiffin Columbian High School. In 1953 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Heidelberg College where he was also a member of the Heidelberg Society. He received a Master of Arts in 1957 and a Specialist in Education Degree in 1967a
