Scott met his life partner and best friend Kelly Ann (Lynch) West in the 6th grade, starting a 42-year journey where they were blessed with two children and countless memories together.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, and nephew Robert Stover.

Scott is survived by his mother, Glenna West of Fort Seneca; brother, Anthony (Diane) West of rural Tiffin; the love of his life Kelly Ann West, and his pride and joy, children Scott Andrew West of Castalia and Ashley Nicole (Devin) Black of Tiffin; and his loving extended family: father and mother-in-law James and Sharon Lynch; sister-in law Connie (Rusty) Stover; brothers-in-law Randy (Lisa), Kevin, and Mark Lynch, and 13 nieces and nephews.

Scott worked as a skilled tradesman at Webster Industries, where he retired after 34 years of service. A consummate handyman, Scott spent much of his time outside of work completing projects and caring for his friends and family. In his free time, Scott enjoyed passing on life lessons to those he cared about, fishing, golfing, beach glass/bottle hunting, camping, and traveling with his wife and children.
