Georgia M. Goshe, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Friday afternoon, January 24, 2014 at Elmwood at the Shawhan.


On January 19, 1930 in Bellevue, OH, she was born to Raymond and Marietta (Woolley) Filsinger. She married Donald L. Goshe on September 1, 1956 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Clyde.


Survivors include a son, Larry (Kathy) Goshe of Tiffin; a daughter, Diana (Dennis) Humphrey of Forest, OH; two sisters, Dorothy Filsinger and Mary Lou Smith both of Clyde; and 3 grandchildren, Robert Goshe, and Lauren and Alyssa Humphrey.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald in 2005, an infant sister, Mary Katherine Filsinger and a brother in law, Robert Smith.


Georgia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a graduate of Clyde High School. She enjoyed camping, gardening, trips with her friends from Elmwood and her many animals over the years.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.


Friends may visit and share stories with the family on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 4-7 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., 419-447-2424. A Wake Service will begin at 7:00 PM.


The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Elmwood at the Shawhan Assisted Living for activities.
