Gerald Anthony "Jerry" Hoover, 42, of Tiffin, died Wednesday morning, September 24, 2008 in Akron due to complications from an ATV accident.

On December 28, 1965 in Tiffin he was born to Kenneth L. and Caroline "Peg" (Ludwig) Hoover.

Survivors include a daughter, Cateline Marie Hoover of Iowa; brothers, Stephen D. (Jane) Hoover of Tiffin; Jamie E. (Rhonda) Hoover of Bellevue; step-brothers, Timothy A. Hoover of Battle Creek MI; Douglas M. Hoover of Tiffin; Stepmother, Lois K. Hoover of Tiffin; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends around the area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth L. Hoover and Caroline "Peg" Hepp, grandparents, Franklin and Estella Hoover and Floyd and Helen Ludwig.

Jerry attended Tiffin Columbian High School and enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and the outdoors. He drove truck for many years, traveling around the country.

A Funeral Service will be Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home with Rev. Donna Van Trees officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, September 29, 2008 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for his daughter, Cateline Marie Hoover.
