Glenn Alfred Malling, 85, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at The Willows at Tiffin.

He was born on January 29, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Alfred and Ruth (Malloy) Malling. On November 30, 1974, he married Judith Cooney.

Survivors include his wife, Judith Malling of Tiffin; son, David (Dina Lloyd) Malling of Bedford, MA; and sister, Patricia (Steve Freson) Malling of Merrimac, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Don Malling.

Glenn relocated to Syracuse for his graduate studies after completing his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Heidelberg College in Tiffin. While in Syracuse, he transferred from the Chemistry Department to Syracuse University’s computer research program, where he worked for nearly 40 years as a computer systems analyst. During his time in Syracuse, Glenn met Judith; they married and together raised their son, David. In 2008, Glenn and Judith returned to Ohio, reconnecting with old friends and the Tiffin community Glenn had always loved. Glenn had a near perfect memory, loved technology, and enjoyed his get togethers with the “Car Guys”, photography, and reunions and lunches with school friends.

There will not be any services at this time.
