Gloria M. Haugh, 75, of Tiffin and formerly of Bascom, passed away Friday morning, September 13, 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer and heart disease at St. Francis Home.

She was born on May 28, 1938, in Dayton, Ohio to Ralph and Bernice (Wenning) Fiala.
On January 9, 1960, she married Richard A. Haugh and they later divorced and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Ted (Karen) Haugh of Tiffin; 3 daughters, Sharon (Bill) Wasem of Wakeman, Dottie (Jerry) Smith of New Riegel, and Brenda (Bil) Danner of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Barry (Phyllis) Fiala of Amherst; and 2 sisters, Judy (Jack) Haslinger of Aurora and Myra (Ron) Limbach of Fairborn and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents;

Gloria graduated in 1956 from Bellevue High School, from business school in Dayton in 1960 and from Sandusky School of Practical Nursing in 1967. She was a LPN at St. Francis Home, Tiffin, and Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria, at Riverfront Manor, Tiffin, at Virginia Lee Care Center and various other nursing homes in the surrounding area. Gloria was a member of Sts. Patrick and Andrew Catholic Church, was a volunteer at the Ritz, Tiffin, and enjoyed music, writing poetry and letters to the Editor and helping the elderly and disabled.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Sts. Patrick and Andrew Catholic Church, Bascom, with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow in Sandridge Cemetery, Bascom. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to the Mass.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-6:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 1:30P.M.
