Helen M. Gibson, 84, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at her home.

She was born on December 31, 1937, in Lorain, Ohio, to Fred and Margaret (Hartman) Gottwald.

Survivors include her sons, Roger (Michelle) Hays, Russell (Pam) Hays and Andy Hays, all of Tiffin; daughters, Roxanne (David) Fitch of Tiffin, Lorie (Harold) Frost of Sycamore and Jamie Gibson of Tiffin; brother, Richard (Sharon) Gottwald of Ft. Wayne, IN; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Raymond Gottwald; and two grandsons, Dominic Hays and Michael Hays.

Helen was a 1957 graduate of Tiffin Columbian and worked at Tiffin Developmental Center for over 25 years.  She enjoyed reading, bird watching, playing games on her tablet, feeding treats to her dogs, Gracie and Willow and her cats, Ellie and Zoe, crocheting and watching her grandchildren.  Family was everything to Helen.

There will not be any visitation or Service at this time.

Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or to Commission on Aging Meals on Wheels.
