Helen L. Miller, 93, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday morning, January 28, 2016 at St. Francis Nursing Home.
She was born on October 16, 1922, in Frenchtown, Ohio to Urban and Agnes (Werling) Kirian. On January 18, 1941, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, she married Harold A. Miller who preceded her in death on February 25, 2008.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Bruce (Nancy) Miller of Tiffin, Rodney H. (Anna) Miller of Albuquerque, NM and Ret. Col. Dale A. (Akemi) Miller of Irvine, CA; three daughters, Wanda L. (Melvin) Haubert-Steinmetz of New Riegel, Sandra K. Shafer of Prince George, VA, and Linda A. (Rob) Molyett of Attica; son-in-law, Evan "Butch" Ebersole of Republic; sister-in-law, Elva Kirian of Tiffin; 31 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; and 24 great-great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Sharon L. Ebersole; brothers, Alfred Kirian, John Kirian and Louis Kirian; sister, Marie Hartzell; and three grandchildren.
Helen was a lifelong dairy farmer with her husband, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the Tiffin Moose Lodge #846 and the V.F.W. #2858 Ladies Auxiliary.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 2-8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake
