Helen V. Patrick, 87, of Tiffin and formerly of Bascom, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 5, 2012 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on July 29, 1925 in New Riegel, Ohio, to Charles E. and Victoria Mary (Laux) Ridenour. On June 4, 1946, she married Thomas J. Patrick and he preceded her in death on January 7, 2002.

Survivors include 2 sons, Thomas M. "Mike" (Sue) Patrick of Bascom and Robert L. "Bob" (Dolores Oravec) Patrick of Fostoria; 1 brother, John Ridenour of Norfolk, VA; 2 grandchildren, Kendra Patrick and Jason Patrick; and 1 great granddaughter, Libby.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; 2 brothers, Louie and Bob Ridenour and 3 sisters, Clara Kelbley, Mary Burger and Ann McCord.

Helen was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church for many years and was a line worker at General Electric for 28 years; retiring in 1984. She was a member of Tiffin Women of the Moose #846 and enjoyed dancing, fishing, gardening, flowers and knitting.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 10, 2012 at St. Francis Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Murd officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Garden.

Friends may visit with the family from 2-5:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 and from 11:00-12:00 noon on Monday, December 10, 2012 at St. Francis Home Chapel.
